Network Support Technician I (Little Rock, AR)
Available immediately: Part-time position with a growing technology leader. This job will transition to full time employment with the right person!
The Network Technician I will:
- identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by client users of various servers, desktop systems, network Internet and other computer technology;
- troubleshoot and solve local-area network problems;
- provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software;
- install, test, certify and troubleshoot networking cabling systems;
- install configured network equipment;
- provides technical expertise to end-users regarding optimal set-up for software, hardware and network use;
- install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot a wide range of network and data communications software and hardware;
- train users in various software applications and network-related procedures;
- provide work direction for assistants;
- and perform related work as required.
Hours of Operation:
- 8AM - 5PM with a lunch from 12PM-1PM
- 1 Week Vacation
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate, 2 or 4 year college graduate preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills are required
- Demonstrated proficiency composing written communications.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
- 3-5 years previous job experience with customer service
- 3-5 years previous job experience with technical support
- Must have vehicle and driver's license
Dress Code and Hygiene:
- No facial hair
- Business Attire (Collared Shirt and Pants)
Pay Range and Payment Requirements:
- Employee must daily enter all times into time sheet
- Employee apportion time based on client
- Employee is paid on the 1st and the 15th
